The Magnolia Inn, Travelers Rest, SC

The Magnolia Inn was purchased and lovingly restored to bring back the glory days of the 1800’s when Low Country Planters would escape the heat and mosquitoes of the South Carolina coast to the cooler air of the mountains. They would stop to water their horses and rest their families and spend the night, hence the name Travelers Rest.

The Magnolia Inn stands on 2 acres and proudly welcomes visitors as they enter Travelers Rest on Main Street.  Located directly across from the Swamp Rabbit Trail, a rails to trails walk bike pathways that links Travelers Rest to downtown Greenville. The Magnolia Inn is a charming location to host a variety of events and overnight guests.

The Magnolia Inn is 8 miles from the Mountains of South Carolina and 8 miles to downtown Greenville, SC, only 2 miles to Furman University, 8 miles to North Greenville University, 8 miles to Bob Jones University, and close to all Cliffs Communities.
